R12.AD.C.DELTA.9 and R12.TXK.C.DELTA.9

We need to apply R12.AD.C.DELTA.9 (patch#25178222) and R12.TXK.C.DELTA.9( patch#25180736 )as a prerequisite   for july CPU 2017 patch on  Oracle EBS R12.2.4 ( database 11.2.0.4) , currently we are on DELTA 7 .so can we directly apply Delta9 patch on  delta7 or we need first apply Delta8  and then Delta9?

what should be the best approach
