IB - can you have more than one Local Node with ES?

We just upgraded from Campus Solutions 9.0 with PeopleTools 8.55.05 to Campus Solutions 9.2 with PeopleTools 8.55.16.

I have the SA Node as Local, Active. I also have a node named after the database, CSPROD92, which is the Default Local Node, also Active.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with having more than one Local Node? I ask, because before go-live, I attempted to roll out ES 2.3.2 to one of our upgrade non-production databases, and the setup steps for Search Framework had a fit with our multiple local nodes.

I look forward to any responses and help to this.
