Reported issue with HCM 9.2 PI 24 - generating upgrade packages

E-UPG HCM 9.2 PI 24 Known Issue with Upgrade Change Package Creates: Issue, Workaround, and Solution (Doc ID 2319754.1)

PROBLEM: The recently posted HCM 9.2 PI Image 24 does not allow creation or generation of the Upgrade Change Package.

This includes the generation of the upgrade template for the upgrade from HCM 9.1 to 9.2 PI Image 16.

SOLUTION: The HCM 9.2 PI24 Update Image was delivered with the Upgrade Change Package generation disabled. Depending on which upgrade you are performing, follow the instructions in the appropriate section:

•    Upgrade to HCM 9.2 PI24:

In the coming weeks, the HCM 9.1 to 9.2 PI 24 Upgrade certification will become generally available.

At that time, Oracle will post a PRP that when applied to the HCM Update Image 9.2.024, will allow the creation / generation of the latest upgrade template.
