My Worklist not automatically refreshing

Hello,

End users are saying the only way for tasks to fall off their "my worklist" is to hit the refresh button in the application.  Is there a setting that can be changed so this happens automatically?

I am using 11.1.2.4.201  and we use Mozilla Firefox as our browser.
