8.55 User Profile message

We have upgraded from Peopletools 8.53 to Peopletools 8.55.  What we have noticed is that in the USER_PROFILE message, the PS Roles section was populated in 8.53.  But now in 8.55, the sections for PSROLEUSER_VW and PSOPRALIAS are in the FieldTypes section, but there no payload data in the message.  Did we miss something?  Has the message changed in 8.55?  Any suggestions where to investigate?
