How to Add Attachment / View and Delete attachments in REST service?

Hi All,

We have to develop a couple of RESTful services wherein we need to cater to attachments ( jpeg/bmp/doc/pdf/etc) related to Absence Request and two other modules. The attachments are stored in form of files on a server and for some modules within a record. We need to develop a RESTful service which will accept attachments from the Mobile Application and also send it as a response.

Request you to share sample code, Document structure or technical write up for same.
