Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. India GST - Item Category based Classification / Recoverable Flag

Hi,

In case we discontinue the usage of distinct item codes and only use item category for deriving expense accounts.

When attempted to buy based on item category, (the item code was blank) found that even the intended recoverable component is getting expense out

Kindly share inputs.
