Is there an option for the Chartfield Configuration process to exclude updating custom objects when

Hi,

We are doing POC to add a new custom chartfield then run the Full Configuration process.  The process completed successfully, and we noticed that it automatically updated the objects (i.e. records/views, pages, sql objects) to add the new chartfield in it.  It was also observed that it updated custom objects as well.  I suppose this is expected result of the process, but is there any way or option for the process to exclude updating custom objects?
