IE Compatibility View with 8.55

We're testing an upgrade from 8.54 to 8.55 and are now experiencing a problem with the IE Compatibility View (IE version 11.0.47).  Our company default is to have this box checked, so we don't really have the option of unchecking that IE setting it for all employees.  Oracles support says Compatibility View is not supported for 8.54 OR 8.55 (according to Doc ID 2029032.1 ), but we're not having the problem with 8.54.  Anyone else have this problem?
