Can I Limit Web Server Visibility to Specific PeopleSoft Components or Content References

Hello,

I am researching the feasibility of rolling out a limited set of PeopleSoft Content References outside of our firewall.

I was hoping that I might be able to use a combination of NODE definitions and Web profiles to limit what components could be accessed from the externally facing Web Logic web server.
I would like to know if this is possible and would love any documentation references you could provide.

If I'm over thinking this, is there is a better way to do it?

We are on PeopleTools 8.55.13.

Business Case.

We would like to allow PeopleSoft users to access the Benefits Open Enrollment pages from home and from within the office.
