Make a Query Access Manager Tree Display-Only?

I am trying to make a Query Security (PeopleTools -> Security -> Query Security -> Query Access Manager) Tree Display-Only - but not having success.  

Added the Query Security Tree to an PS Object Definition Security 'Group' and made the Group ID Display Only for my Primary Permission List.  But unfortunately I can still Update it.

Is that right approach?  Concerned this is not possible and Tree objects can only be made Display-Only when accessing via Tree Manager.
