What permissions are needed for users to perform Elasticsearch global searches for those who want to
Despite reviewing various articles and the “PeopleTools 8.55: Search Technology (February 2017)" administration sections, I have only succeeded in finding statements such as the latter’s "Chapter 11: Working with PeopleSoft Search" section "Working with Global Search in Fluid User Interface" on page 177:
In a fluid user interface, Global Search is enabled by default based on three conditions:
• At least one search index must be deployed and crawled on the system.
• A user accessing global search must have the required permissions for the deployed search index.
• A user accessing global search must have access to the Fluid Global Search component.
And what, pray tell, are those required permissions for those of us who are unwilling to use the supplied PTPT1000? We have built our own permission list, but we have not yet guessed correctly at all the pieces it should entail. Is there a document--or would someone please enumerate here--all the security pieces needed to perform global searches with Elasticsearch on PT 8.55 and CS 9.2? (Bonus points: what differences are there for various patch releases and/or versions?)
