PUM and PRP application question

Hi-

I wanted to check to see if anyone had any good suggestions for us. We are in the process of testing HCM PUM 24 (so not yet applied to production). We now have a PRP to apply as well that I want to add to our DEV and TEST and ultimately will move it all to production the same day after testing.  In the past the person who was applying PUMs for me said having a 'new thing' to apply (the PRP) messed up the process for applying the PUM.  Does it wipe out the change assistant job or some
