RMS Order rounding

in Retail Merchandising System (MOSC) Question

Hi,

What would be the correct approach to manage items where the stock is measured in UOMs different than eaches, but can be ordered in decimal quantities?

I'm trying to setup an item that should be measured in cubic meters (m3), which should allow ordering in whole numbers as well as decimals.

RMS allways rounds the entered quantity to the pack size.

Having a pack size of 1 will allow me only to order in whole numbers.

Order Qty: 18.89

Rounded to: 19.00

I've set the pack quantity to 0.01, which would then allow me up to 2 decimals, but I'm not sure this would be the correct way.
