OIC 12.1.3 - Multiple compensation plan to one resource?

I have a requirement to attach multiple compensation plans to same resource. As per documentation, we can have more than one active role assigned to resource and thus multiple plans.

I know that same calculation results can be obtained by having multiple plan element within a plan. But I have like 31 distributed plans and clarifications and modelling them to bring them in groups will be a time taking process. So the intention of the management is to implement plan by plan and then attach them to relevant resources.
