DR for Oracle Retail applications

Hi,

What is the suggested disaster recovery (DR) option for Oracle Retail products? We are planning to use vip/hostname alias and rsync at middleware layer, however the oracle retail installer doesn't seem to recognise hostname alias for deploying the applications. The installation (v15.x) is getting successful when using hostname alias but nothing gets deployed as the installer says the required applications need to be deployed elsewhere and nothing need to be deployed on this host. This is because the installer is internally using 'hostname' command to identify components that need to deployed in this host and components that has to be
