Assigning Themes

Can you assign more than one theme to a Portal?  If so, how is that accomplished?

We are implementing WorkCenters and my business partners would like to have the WorkCenters be the landing page for users.  We have two workcenters (AP and GL) and the landing page for each user needs to be one or the other.  When I attempted to 'Assign Themes' (PeopleTools > Portal > Branding > Assign Themes) I am not able to add more than one theme to my portal of EMPLOYEE.
