Keystore

We're trying to start using a new punchout and i'm getting a handshake failure on the cXML PO transmission. I have all the appropriate certificates installed in the keystore, but how can I be sure that the keystore is actually being USED? I've changed the oc4j.properties file to specify the keystore instead of the wallet, but other than that, I'm not sure how to ensure the keystore is being used. The vendor is not even seeing our attempt to reach their URL. Please help!
