Installing Peoplesoft application on Windows2012, AND Peoplesoft database is on Linux.

I am fairly new to Peoplesoft and have been handed the task of installing Peoplesoft 9.2, Tools 8.56.  No upgrade tasks at this point.

I need to install DEMO Peoplesoft HCM Application 9.2/Tools 8.56 on Windows 2012 R2, and the database needs to be on Linux, not the Windows environment.

The current DPK install does not allow for install of application on Windows and the database on another platform(Linux).

I currently have a four page SR, trying to figure out the details on how to accomplish this.  Has anyone else out there trying or has succeeded in creating a DEMO 9.2/8.56 HCM where application is on Windows and database is on Linux?  Any information at all would be greatly appreciated!
