GL_JRNL_IMP Flat file Journal Import Adding Fields

Hello,  Psoft Fin V 9.2 pum 26 & Ptools 8.55.13. I am attempting to add two fields to the GL_JRNL_IMP  Flat File Journal Import.  These two fields come as delivered on the jrnl_ln table, we simply want to add them to the Flat File Import.  So, we went ahead and added those two fields  to the GL_JRNL_IMPORT File Lalyout in App Designer.  However, when we run the process to import the file (with the new values in the proper position), the journals are created successfully but the two fields are not populated with the values.  Any ideas concerning what the issue could be?  We now think we need to modify the GL_JRNL_IMP App Engine, is that correct?  thank You
