Query execute directly as equivalent to system date (today's date)

Dear All

We are using PSFSCM 9-2 PT 8.53 with no image update. There are certain queries already in use of ours which run in the fashion that user selects one date in prompt which is usually the system date i.e. today's date. Is it possible to eliminate this prompt and the query simply execute with the value of today's date.
