Requisition Approval already in place changes required

Dear All

We are using PSFSCM 9.2 PT: 8.53 with no image/update. Kindly guide we do have requisition approval procedure in place kindly review below screenshot. Now we would like to increase the number of approvals but that area is freeze

Also, note we do have only 12 steps in place for setting up our requisition path as highlighted below. Currently our requisition goes for approval on the basis of origin. So my query is how to increase from these 12 steps as the number of origins' are increasing now as well as the number of approving authorities. Also, note this query i.e. increasing of 12 steps is sort of separate query than the first one.
