Is shrinking the data file in Workflow tables necessary?

Greetings,
I am attaching the output of below query with this post and i am very much familiar about the two doc ids. My question to this group is how frequently do we need to the data shrink? We used to do reorganization of the workflow every quarter, however we dont do the data shrink.
The reason for not doing the data shrink is workflow tables grows abruptly. Thus the space will be released or utilized upon the growth. Any advice?
