OIM 11g R2 PS3 compatibility query

We have OIM (11g R2 PS2) front ended by OHS server, we are planning to migrate to OIM 11g R2 PS3. The OAM still remains in 11g R2 PS2, so upgrading the OIM to PS3 have any issues with existing OHS (11.1.1.7) ?

Our initial thought was like it wont be affected as the OAM still remains in 11g R2 PS2.

Note: The OHS has the reverse proxy entry to OIM hosts and OIM resources are protected in OAM 11g R2 PS2.
