Generating xlsx format file from sqr in 7.5 tools version

Hi All,

We have a program to generate a report in xls format using sqr in 7.5 tools version. We have a business requirement to generate the same report in the xlsx format. We tried changing the code to generate the file in the newer version and the file get created in xlsx format. However we are unable to open this file in xlsx format.

Can anybody please advise if the xlsx format is supported by the 7.5 tools version or we are missing something in the code to generate the file. What is the best approach to convert the file format.
