Query Access Security for Pagelet but not Query Manager?

We have records/view used by our Dashboard Query Pagelets that we do not want exposed to same end-users via Query Manager.    Does anybody know if this is possible?  Once the records are added to Query Access tree so the pagelet works, those records also appear to the PSQuery users.

The only work-around I can think of is to change the 'Query 'Pagelets to 'Rowset' pagelets - which we don't really want to do.
