T5120 ILOM hangs after entering password

I have 2 T5120 servers where the ILOM hangs after I enter the password. This occurred after I had patched these servers and I lost my VPN connection.

After I got my VPN connection back I tried to connect to the ILOM but hangs after entering the password. SSH or Web does not work.

I have researched to see if there is a way to reset the SP without being in the ILOM but can't find any definitive answers except to power off the server and put a jumper on 2 connectors.

Can anyone help?

****UPDATE***

Discovered that to correct the issue, you have to completely power the server off for 5 minutes.
