Post Voucher to Future Open Period

I am performing a test to see if a voucher with current Entered Date but a future accounting date can be posted to the GL in the next accounting period.  The future period for both AP and GL are open.  I've run voucher post but the voucher remains unposted.  I am working on Psoft 9.2, Image 11.

Does voucher post allow for a voucher entered with today's date but a future accounting date in March to be posted?
