Are the mobile application client versions cumulative or do all patches for all versions that are no

We want to implement Oracle Mobile Approvals for Oracle E-Business Suite using Oracle E-Business Suite Mobile Foundation Release 7.0. I am reviewing Doc ID 1642431.1 which shows patches for Mobile App Client Version 1.6.0 down to 1.0.0 and Oracle E-Business Suite Mobile Foundation Release 7.0 down to 1.0.

Are these releases cumulative or do I need to check each version and patches? There is a note in the doc that states

Note: The latest app version will work with earlier server-side patches. However, the latest server-side patches must be applied to enable new features and fixes that require those patches; such features are marked with an asterisk (*).
