Financial Gateway Load Error Communication to Business Lines

Is anyone using the alerts and notification framework to send load errors to the business lines? We have developed a load error query for the Treasury department that runs daily and then they forward on to the appropriate business line if there are errors. We want to expand that and send to the business lines direct when there are errors only. Would the alerts and notifications framework work for this or what are others doing? We are on 9.2 Image 21 Tools 8.55.
