Setting up reverse proxy

Hello,

We are trying to open our peoplesoft 9.2 region to public internet. We have a SSL certificate (2048 bit encryption). Do we still need to setup reverse proxy.

If Reverse proxy is needed, what is the recommended one for weblogic12. I see Oracle is not recommending Weblogic to be used for production RPS server. Why is that?

If Weblogic is ruled out, what is the next best alternative. We are on AIX 7.1

Any document pointing to this would be helpful.
