CS 9.2 and PT8.56 Upgrade DPK Questions

Hi All

The current setup for Campus Solutions 9.0 here is Linux database/batch servers running Oracle 12.2, PT8.55.xx, and CS 9.0. We also have Windows App servers and Windows Web servers. We are a NON-UNICODE site.

We are looking at upgrading to CS 9.2 and using the CS 9.2.002 upgrade image (through PI08) as the source. Since the application VCDs have gone away, I am trying to figure out how to set up a new CS 9.2 demo environment using the PT8.56/App DPKs. We would also need to install new PT8.56/CS 9.2 software environments to use with our upgraded databases.

Based on my reading (there are a lot of documents to read) and limited testing, these are the steps I have so far:
