India Localization:OSP Return Days

Hello,

For India Localization with the current GST, there is a setup called OSP Return Days in the common configuration.As per the online documentation it should be either 365 days(1 year for input material) or 365*3(3 years for service).

What is the significance of this setup?And how do you decide if this should be 1 year or 3 years for a manufacturing plant?
