How do redirect voucher approval workflow if the requester become inactive?

We have a scenario where a requester for PO voucher become inactive while approval process going on. Part of the approval process requester has to confirm before it gets paid. Since the requester is no longer active the voucher approval process get stuck. Using new AWE process, is there a any possibility to re-route workflow to Workflow Admins automatically if the requester status is inactive? We would like to achieve this without any customization on the approval framework code? Any recommendation / preferred approach is appreciated
