HaswithSalt or HasSHA256 not giving right results

Hi,

While using delivered function 'HashSHA256' and 'HashWithSalt' , the result coming from PeopleSoft is not same as online SHA256 tool. Does any one has more information regarding SHA256 hash function, is there any other function which we are supposed to use?
