What is the purpose of the Component Drilling URL "Page" feature

PeopleBooks doesn't explain what this is supposed to do, and the main purpose I would think it would have doesn't work.

When defining a Component Drilling URL users can select to navigate through the portal reference menu to find a component they are looking for (great, easy to use ), but then they get "Page", with a search record that only uses the internal PS name, not the page label, and includes invisible pages (not easy to use ). This would be great if it worked to bypass a default landing page for the component (like VOUCHER_EXPRESS "Summary Information" for financials) and bring up the page relevant to the query (like VCHR_PAYMENT_PNL), but this does not seem to be the case. What does this selection do other than add the page to the URL? I can't seem to get it to do anything and it is conspicuously missing in PeopleBooks, the only field not addressed. Let me know if you have any insight.
