Cleaning up a Windows Native OS Update Image question

I have a 9.2 Update image installed and wanted to remove it to install the next image. On the same server I also have a peoplesoft file server. When I run the psft-dpk-setup.bat --cleanup, it ran the cleanup on the file server directories rather than the Update Image directories even though PS_HOME was set to the Update Image location. Does the cleanup option just scan the server for dpk folders? How can I tell it which dpk to clean up?
