HELP! After PeopleTools 8.56.06 upgrade, some users see PeopleSoft displayed in strange, unreadable,

We could really use your help!

We upgraded from PeopleTools 8.55.04 to 8.56.06 on April 7.  (Note: We are on Classic, not Fluid.)  Since then we have been getting sporadic reports that when users log in PeopleSoft is displayed in an unreadable symbols instead of its normal font.  This is not happening to a lot of users but for those it is happening to, the site is unusable.  Here's what we know so far:

  • The issue is definitely happening in IE 11.  It's unclear if it is happening in Firefox or Chrome.  (Some users tell me it is, but I've not seen it so I can't confirm.  Most users say the issue is not occurring in Firefox or Chrome)
