Retail Markup Vs Cost Markup

in Retail Merchandising System (MOSC) Question

Hi,

can someone from a business prespective clarify why retailers might use Retail Markup or Cost Markup while setting the initial price in ORMS based on the Primary Zone Group in ORPM? Why choose one from another ?
