Payment status is reflected as "Identified" after applying the payments

Hi,

we have applied the payments but still the payment status is reflected as "Identified".

Group and journal posted successfully however, the payment status is still shown as "Identified" under below navigation :

AR >Payments >review Payments > Payment Status.

Please suggest wht will be the reason.
