Help with Journal Generator Error

My business partners had an issue with a journal allocation that they were attempting to run.  It erred and locked.  I was able to unlock the entry.  They would like to delete the journal, but they are getting the error 'Cannot Delete this journal because part or all of this journal has been posted'.  Doc ID 624170.1 in Step 7 talks about resetting the GL_DISTRIB_STATUS and removing the journal related detail from the subsystem table.  How do I know what the subsystem tables are and where in the heck is the GL_DISTRIB_STATUS?  I'm on Financials 9.2.
