Interesting Q&A : Client IP Address Through F5 Load Balancer To OAM Audit Log

Q:

Customer is asking: We need to capture the actual client IP address in the OAM audit log. The requests are coming through a F5 load balancer and the actual client Ip is getting replaced with the F5 LTM Ip address. We can have it sent from the LTM using the X-Forwarded-for header option but do not know how to capture it in the audit log for OAM.

Is there some way to modify the F5 Load balancer or OAM Auditing to be able to capture the client’s Ip address in this scenario?
