Fluid vs. Classic Homepage Personalization

We are currently upgrading our CS system to 9.2 with a PeopleTools upgrade to 8.55.21. We are rolling out Fluid Homepages and also making the classic home available to our “back office” users and fine tuning our configuration from a user experience perspective. I’m trying to accomplish the following:


1. We DO NOT want users to personalize fluid homepages. To this end, in our custom version of PTPT1000 we have removed access to PORTAL_PERS_HOMEPAGE > PORTAL_HOMEPAGE > Personalize Content & Personalize Layout. This meets our desire to remove “Personalize Homepage” as an option from the action menu. This is fine; however,

2. We DO want users to be able to personalize the content on the classic homepage (via the hyperlink in the top right corner as shown below).
