Updating PUM using "Initial Pass" in all environment including production

Hi,

We are using a strategy to applying PUM update (from PUM-Image-10 to PUM-IMAGE-26  using the "Initial Pass" setup in change assistant.  We are handling all our customizations using a separate process after the completion of CA job, In prod, we are planning to mark the compare report as completed.  Could you please help us by checking if you   find any major issues with this approach?
