Enable field to be edited - Siebel

Hi,

I have 2 different views which have  the same applets assigned to them. For one of the views, I want a field to be enabled for editing. I unchecked the READ ONLY flag for this field in the applet via tools. However, by doing so the field gets enabled for editing in the other view as well, as they share the same applets.

How can I prevent the changes I make in one view affect the other view ?
