Data Encryption

As required by New York's Cybersecurity Regulation (NY DFS 500), we are investigating options to encrypt data at rest.  Does PeopleSoft  support database encryption?  If encryption is supported, what is the path and estimated effort required to enable it?  We have Financials 9.2, AP and GL with SQL Server 12.
