DIP AD to OUD cn mapping?

in Identity Management (MOSC) Question

I am trying to map AD to OUD users, replacing the users CN > UID with samaccountname, without success.

AD user will be cn

cn=first last1,ou=it,ou=users,dc=domain,dc=local

Map to OUD user uid

uid=firstl1,ou=it,ou=users,dc=domain,dc=local

Below is my mapping rule, but I wasn't able to get it working.

P.S. I cant just replace the uid like so uid=% since my users are all in different domains.

DomainRules

ou=it,ou=users,dc=domain,dc=local:ou=it,ou=people,o=domain.com,dc=domain,dc=com:orclSourceObjectDN=%
