Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. How to enable manual approval only if nbr of hours > 40 hours (OverTime hours)

Time sheet approvals

Current Process: Timecards for all staff that are eligible for OverTime (OT) must be approved by their line manager.

Enhancement: Only require approvals if the total time is > 40 hours (i.e. there is OT).

Can we define an Approval Style which is a combination of:

Auto Approve, that will set the Timecard Status to APPROVED if hours <= 40 and
Entry Level Approval, then Approval Notifications is set to corresponding Approver based on the Entry Level Components defined (e.g. Regular hours are auto-approved and Overtime hours goes to Line Manager).

Would appreciate any useful suggestions.
