OFI: Correction/updation to BOE before & after 'confirmed' status

Assume that we have 50 PO's and each PO having multiple lines. In BOE after saving PO in document selection and adding lines it gets saved. We are not able to remove few PO's or few item lines. When we try to delete we get message as 'Cannot delete master record when matching detail records exist'. Please advise as how we can overcome as BOE status is still 'Not Yet Assessed' and we are not able to edit/change

We would like to correct assessable value, other details or change if it is wrongly entered. Please let us know if we can make any correction/update to BOE if status is 'Confirmed'. If not possible to change what is the workaround/solution
