Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hello,

Apart from the protocol differences, what are the real-time parameters that affect the decision to use either WS connector or REST generic connector?

Also, please suggest the pros and cons.
